Porn, sex and truth

According to a joint Nordic study conducted between 2004-2006, up to 95% of all boys start watching porn between the ages of 9-14 [1] . According to the same survey, a third of young Danish men are high-frequency users (ie consume pornography a few times a week or almost every day). In a survey conducted by Berlingske tidende in 2011, 72 percent of Danish high school boys consume Porno at least twice a week [2] and the same applies to every third woman in Denmark [3] .

Paradoxically, the porn consumption of Christians is at least as high as that of non-Christians, according to US studies. Between 60-70% of Christian men in the United States watch porn at least once a week and over 50% of pastors watch porn regularly. Of young Christians between the ages of 18-24, 76% are actively seeking porn [4] . Pornography is considered to be one of the biggest problems in Christian homes and according to a study, almost 50% of Christian families admit that pornography is a problem in their homes [5]

Some people get caught up in an addiction that is hard to get out of on their own. An abuse can have major consequences for both mental health, and for significant relationships and it can affect academic and work performance. A large number of studies have now uncovered the harmful consequences of porn.
